Architectural structures and infrastructure are captured using the panorama function on the iphone documenting the journey through an environment. The inaccuracies and glitches inherent in these technologies create fictional reinterpretations of buildings and landscapes compressing time and the movement through space. In the case of Cerche Cerche Stazione, the journey between Palermo and Taormina is documented through the capture of the arrival and departure of the allying stations.
Using the geolocation app what3words the approximate location of the photographs is recorded in English and translated into Italian creating a further layer of ambiguity and fictionalising of the data to mirror the panoramic imagery.
